Delegates will participate in a one day international conference with each pair representing a different nation. Through negotiations, delegates will create Draft Resolutions and work towards reaching a consensus to passing the resolution.

Topic: Children in Armed Conflict—the Matter of Child Soldiers

Just as the real United Nations conferences are being held online, online Model UN has the power to bring people from all over the world together to negotiate together in an international conference. Through this day filled with consultations and discussions, students will be able to interact with others from different countries that can bring new and surprising perspectives to the table. Children the same age, or even younger than us, are on the battlefields, fighting wars every day. There is an urgent need for international cooperation in order to save these children and protect their future. We welcome anyone who is interested in discussing these issues, not limited to those who have attended past MUN conferences.
